Taryn Dai El
Founder and CEO
About Taryn
Taryn began her entrepreneurial path in high school by offering private tutoring services. At the age of 18, she became an independent business owner and earned a scholarship to the University of Illinois at Chicago earning a degree in Architectural Studies. As her 10+ year management career evolved, she became a Commissioned Officer in the US Army, shortly after starting an investment company in 2014.
Her passion for talent and youth development had her return to education working with a nonprofit in CPS high schools, facilitating high dosage small group math lessons; and helping change the trajectory of 9th and 10th graders' academic careers. In 2017, Ms. Taryn officially launched M.O.N.E.Y. Matters at the University of Chicago - Woodlawn, using a similar model yet a unique approach to teaching financial literacy to participants to improve their economic trajectory.

With 20+ years in education, Ms. El still serves in academic spaces, while offering opportunities for young people and families to create financial freedom and legacy.
